Measurement Scales for Kids
Mom or/and dad, it would be helpful if you fill this scale out and have it ready for your first appointment. This tool will be measured before, possibly during, and after treatment for children participating in the Growing Great Kids program to ensure that you are receiving the help you need. This is a good scale to use, also, for in-office counseling for your child. Another great project is to have your child/ren or/and others in the family fill this out with the child in mind. You may explain the questions to the child/ren if needed.
Kids, be honest! If you put numbers that make it look like you are doing better than you really are, it will be harder to show your parents when you really are behaving better! Most kids really want to behave better and feel great when they see how much better they end up doing.
